General Gantry crane

Gantry crane is a bridge crane whose bridge is supported on the ground track through landing-legs on both sides. Structurally, it consists of gantry, long-travel running mechanism, cross-travel and electrical parts. Some gantry cranes only have landing-legs on one side, and the other side is supported on the workshop or trestle, which is called semi-gantry crane.

  • Application

    Gantry crane is a kind of deformation of bridge crane, also called gantry crane. It is mainly used for the loading and unloading of goods and bulk cargo in outdoor freight yards. Gantry crane is widely used in port freight yard because of its high site utilization rate, large working range, wide adaptability and strong versatility.
