The new generation self-propelling self-elevating Wind Turbine Installation Vessel developed by TYHI is mainly used for off-shore wind power equipment installation with maximum lifting capacity of 1500t much enough for installation of 5MW-8MW offshore wind turbines in components or in whole. The vessel is specially designed and built for off-shore wind power equipment installation with features of both self-elevating platform and floating derrick ship which is controllable with certain speed, large enough for more turbines, with heavy duty crane and pile hammering device assuring quick installation and working in severe weathers.
The vessel is capable of all jobs from turbine transportation, loading, pile driving and installation. Pile driving equipment onboard is suitable for monopile base, jacketed base and multi-piles.
With our own independent intellectual property rights, the products are made of excellent design and introduction of advanced experiences from identical products of the industry in China and abroad. The products are in a leading position China and abroad.
Propelling system and DP system are able to deploy the vessel from or to harbor or construction site. The vessel is able to navigate at certain speed with easy maneuverability. No towing required.
Crane spins around one of the vessel legs which could spare more deck space for loading more turbines. In this way fewer round trips between inland to wind farms are required and it shortened farm construction time.
