Castings for Hydropower Station

The castings for hydropower station is mainly hydro-turbine blades. For machined surfaces of the castings, 100% area MT and 100% volume UT shall be carried out in accordance with “Specification for Inspection of Steel Castings for Hydraulic Machines” after finishing/grinding.     Martensitic stainless steel castings (such as runner ,the core component of hydropower equipment, runner crown, band, blade) and duplex stainless steel castings (such as pump casing, pump cover, guide vane) are strictly tested to meet the user's requirements.
